Bringing Water to Kakira Village
Access to clean, safe drinking water is a fundamental necessity, yet many remote communities face severe daily water scarcity. In Kakira Village, the lack of a reliable water source placed a heavy burden on local families, impacting their health, sanitation, and daily livelihoods.
During the blessed month of Ramadhan in 2021, generous donors came together to change this reality. Driven by the spirit of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity), funds were successfully raised to build a dedicated, permanent water source for the village.
Executed in Just Six Days
By the grace and help of Allah, the construction moved rapidly. It took exactly six days to drill and finalise the 12-foot borehole.
Today, this well provides free, clean water directly to the residents of Kakira Village. The project stands as a direct reflection of Saba Sanaabil’s mission to serve humanity with purpose. By providing a reliable water source, the well helps restore dignity, improve community health, and empower families to become more self-reliant.
